Past President Minola Clark Manson
Minola Clark, M.A. is our 2015-2017 ABPsi San Diego Chapter President.
Minola Clark Manson is the program manager for the Behavioral Health Education & Training Academy (BHETA). Minola Clark Manson served ten years as the training coordinator for San Diego County’s Health Services and is intricately familiar with the principles of Adult Learning Theory and training evaluation. Minola has an extensive background in the field of mental health, including a Masters in Clinical Psychology from CSPP, and training expertise in the areas of diversity, cross-cultural issues, management, and supervision, among others.
President Dr.Monica Hinton, Phd
Dr. Monica Hinton, PhD is our 2018-2020 ABPsi- San Diego Chapter President.
Monica Hinton, PhD is a Behavioral Health Therapist at SHARP McDonald Center, which is the only medically supervised substance abuse recovery program in the San Diego County. Dr. Hinton has worked in Mental Health and Substance Abuse for over 20 years. She currently is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and is the President-Elect of The Black Psychologist Associations (ABPsi). She has been the Program Director of Alpine Special Treatment, Inc. and has been the Chairperson of the Training and Implementation Committee for CADRE/CCISC for San Diego County.
